Old Town Playhouse is pleased to offer you four opportunities to Play, Dine & Mingle. At each of these gatherings, you will experience extraordinary escapes to faraway lands through diversified culinary plates and entertaining presentations. Murder at the Tavern
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 – 6 pm
Host: Verna Bartnick of Old Mission Tavern
In a lonely tavern, on a stormy night, a mysterious vagabond enters the lives of a small group of people. Thus begins the synopsis of George M. Cohan’s 1920’s play The Tavern, OTP’s final MainStage show of the 2011-2012 season. We can’t guarantee the storm, but thanks to Verna we can be sure that you will gather with a group of people at a tavern and a mystery will ensue which you will help solve. You will enjoy a sumptuous dinner prepared by Verna at this private gathering in her Tavern. Dressing in Great Gatsby style 1920’s attire is strongly encouraged but not mandatory for this speakeasy evening of dining, mystery, and bath tub gin. Please note: to keep Elliot Ness from dragging Verna away, we will have to have a cash bar for this one.
$75 per person - An additional $25 will buy you the chance to be part of the cast of characters in the mystery!
Attendance at each event is limited to 75 guests so reserve early!
