Since 1960, the Old Town Playhouse has been bringing the best in Community Theatre to the Grand Traverse region. A leader in the area’s rich cultural environment, the Old Town Playhouse brings entertainment and education to over 20,000 participants each year with over 90 performances, 25 Young Company performances and numerous special events and community appearances. Driven by the passion and energy of its volunteers, the Old Town Playhouse brings together hundreds of community residents to create quality entertainment and moving arts experiences for all ages.

Our success - past, present, and future - is dependent on the dedication of our 300 plus volunteers whose time, talents and spirit continue to bring the quality entertainment that OTP prides itself on. Many faces truly bring our theatre to life - building sets, sewing costumes, selling tickets, planning fundraisers, planning rehearsals, running lights, sweeping floors and shining on stage. Individual Support for the Old Town Playhouse
As we work to provide high-quality entertainment while keeping ticket prices accessible, the costs for each OTP production cannot be covered through ticket sales alone. With generous support from Individual Donors, Underwriters and Sponsors, and Advertisers, the future of community theatre and this beloved facility are maintained and protected. We hope that you will consider supporting the Old Town Playhouse and playing your role today! Donors of $20 or more annually become voting members of the Old Town Playhouse, and play an integral role in shaping the future direction of the OTP!

Sponsorship and Advertising
For businesses wishing to demonstrate their support for OTP and our cultural community, there are a variety of sponsorship and advertising options. Packages may also be adapted to meet individual business interests! OTP audiences vary greatly in size, from the 500 attendees who see a Studio Theatre production to the 4,000 patrons who see a musical during 4 weeks of performances.
